Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Ezditek, a Saudi provider of data center and digital infrastructure services, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Gcore to support artificial intelligence (AI) innovation in Saudi Arabia, the company revealed in a press release.

Gcore, headquartered in Luxembourg, provides edge AI, cloud, network, and security solutions to global leaders in several industries.

This partnership aims to establish high-capacity infrastructure in the Kingdom to enhance AI businesses and deliver capacity for AI/GPU computing within five years, spread between nine data centers in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam.

A capacity of 28MW will be available specifically across the three locations by 2025, with gradual rollout continuing over the following four years.

Gcore will provide cloud computing and infrastructure for Ezditek’s facilities to fulfill the growing demands for data centers, driven by AI requirements.

Ibrahim Almulhim, CEO of Ezditek, stated that the partnership represents a milestone in the company’s journey to provide flexible and highly scalable facilities that support the evolving demands of the AI era.

“Our MoU agreement represents an exciting step forward as we develop carrier-neutral data centers designed to manage massive amounts of data with local digital infrastructure. Together, we are delivering AI as a service to drive the next wave of smarter and more sustainable data center innovation across the KSA,” Almulhim added.

Meanwhile, Fabrice Moizan, Chief Revenue Officer at Gcore, commented: “This is the beginning of a powerful partnership as we support the Kingdom’s Saudi Vision 2030 through our computing and infrastructure solutions and Ezditek’s future-ready facilities.”

Ezditek aspires to deliver several large-scale data centers across the three major cities in the Kingdom by 2030. Its carrier-neutral data center hubs are designed to offer customers a foundation for long-term innovation and growth in the Kingdom.
