Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom spearhead more than 20 economies around the world, Khalid Al Falih, Saudi Minister of Investment, stated.
In a panel discussion during the Great Futures expo, Al Falih affirmed that Vision 2030 sets eyes on innovation and economic diversification, in addition to increasing investments to over SAR 3.3 trillion.
The minister noted that the Saudi market became one of the top 10 markets in the world.
Al Falih affirmed that the Great Futures expo paves the way for participants to explore the investment potentials of Saudi Arabia.
He stated that the expo will include launching several initiatives in various sectors, focusing mainly on culture, sports, digital services, finance, and trade.
The Great Futures expo takes place in Riyadh on 14 and 15 May with the participation of around 750 representatives. It primarily focuses on innovation in research collaboration, disruptive technologies, emerging clean tech, finance, and sustainable construction.
A delegation of 300 British business executives participates in this two-day event to showcase the best UK excellence and innovation.
Headed by Deputy Prime Minister Oliver Dowden, the delegation also includes senior business leaders from various sectors, notably tourism, clean tech, trade, and insurance.
