Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The Saudi Geological Survey (SGS) launched the Nuthree initiative, an exploration incubator for entrepreneurship in the geology and mining sectors.

Nuthree will serve as an incubator for small-scale investors and explorers and aims to create a sustainable exploration environment to upgrade resource sites in Saudi Arabia, as reported by Arab News.

The primary goal of the incubator is to support and localize exploration in the Kingdom, enabling investors to engage in the process professionally and practically.

Abdullah Al-Shamrani, CEO of SGS, affirmed that the Nuthree incubator supplies information across various geological fields.

“We expect investors to form complementary partnerships and alliances to achieve the best outcomes. This is a significant step that we support. We will not only offer information but also support drilling, coordination, and advisory visits to key locations,” Al-Shamrani stated.

He added that the authority partners with different Saudi entities to empower emerging investors in the mining exploration sector and establish a local and sustainable exploration environment.

For his part, Abdulrahman Al-Balushi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, highlighted Nuthree’s role in supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by providing technical courses, organizing trips to mining sites, and facilitating knowledge sharing with geological experts.
